Haddstock festival brings you live entertainment for one weekend at the end of May. We’ve been busy hatching plans, creating exciting events with local partners and cramming as many fantastic artists as we possibly can into one action-packed weekend. This year’s theme of the Climate Crisis will be a common thread woven through author events, film screenings, workshops, exhibitions and live music. Haddstock is a celebration of artists and musicians on our doorstep who deserve a platform.
Following the success of Battle of the Bands in 2023, the event returns, as well as a Newcomer Stage at the Corn Exchange for performers aged 18 or under. Both are produced in partnership with East Lothian Council Arts Service. We’re also delighted to be able to host Karine Polwart and Gaze is Ghost at the Corn Exchange in partnership with The Brunton.
We’re a family friendly, community festival; all are welcome! Wheelchair accessible venues are marked on the map (further down this page) and under-18s can enjoy music until around 8pm (exact times vary – see venue listings). This year’s festival t-shirts are green again, to go with our climate crisis theme. They’re premium quality cotton, printed in Edinburgh with our distinctive guitar-tyne bridge graphic.

You can collect your t-shirt from us on the Saturday morning of the festival, or we can post it out to you.
Haddstock is run by volunteers! If you’d like to join our friendly team on festival weekend, we have a variety of roles to suit, including practical set up / clear away; chatting with the public; stewarding family arts events; stewarding music events and production roles (for those who love a clipboard).
We offer roles for those who would like to get involved with community events and meet new people. We can provide supervised experience for those looking to develop skills in various aspects of event production and provide references. Our GDPR, EDI and Safeguarding policies can be accessed in the website footer.
